Stupid Things I've heard recently

My Boss on getting an I.U.S.:
"Why do you even need one of these?  You're not having sex!!"
My response:
"Thank you for that considerate update!  For your info, it's all about the cramps and the pain.  But thank you again for advertising it to the entire store!"

Bishop's Wife at the Ward Canada Picnic (while I'm holding a friend's baby):
"I bet that makes you miss having a baby."
My response:
"No.  I think I miss having a husband more."
B.W:
"I can't even IMAGINE being a single Mom.  It must be so hard!"
Me:
"Not hard.  Just different"

Graeme after he came into my apartment and complex without my permission:
"Where were you?"
My response:
"Out.  And next time, if I don't buzz you into my complex...you don't come in.  Show some respect."
His retort:
"YOU show some respect!"
My answer to that while laughing:
"Is that the BEST you got??"

Gotta wonder why I'm surrounded by stupidity.  Not only that but the lack of respect shown lately is mind boggling!  Thank goodness I have my own sense of self or I'd seriously lose it!

But then again...I think I already might have!  HAHAHAHAHA!!!
